TrailPark Klínovec
In the urban forests of Jáchymov you will find 24 km of gradually descending smooth trails specially designed for the enjoyment of mountain biking. The trails are graded to three levels of difficulty, and beginners, families with children and more experienced riders will find the corresponding difficulty. For the fittest is also prepared 5 km downhill sections. The Prima Express 4-seater chairlift takes you back to the beginning of the trails. First-time beginners can try off-road bumps on the pump track and improve their skills in the skill centers at the platforms.
Downhill Klínovec
Downhill Klínovec is a track for mountain biking. This discipline has a long tradition in Klínovec and the history of the legendary stony track includes the races of the Czech Championship. The downhill track in Klínovec was renovated in 2015 and has its first successful season. In 2016 it will be extended by 1 km long forest section, which will replace the unpopular range to the bottom station of the cable car along the gravel road. Modifications will also affect existing sections - the track will be improved by several rock gardens. Further forest sections should be created in the following seasons.
Marked routes for bicycles, scooters and pedestrians
In the surroundings of Klínovec, 73 km of mountain bike, scooter and pedestrian routes are marked on forest roads. Cyclists can choose between two types of routes of varying difficulty - easy cycling routes effortless and harder mountain bike routes.
Ski Resort Klínovec
Klínovec Ski Resort is the largest ski area in the Ore Mountains. Its highest point is located at the very top of Klínovec at 1,244 meters above sea level. You can ski on a total of 31.5 km of slopes with 5 cable cars, 7 ski lifts and 5 children's parks. For lovers of freestyle there is available Funpark with a variety of obstacles and jumps. Freeride lovers have the opportunity to use two kilometers of untreated slopes with natural snow. Ski equipment rentals and certified ski instructors are available. Multi-day ski passes are also valid for the neighboring Fichtelberg ski area in Germany. The Interskiregion Fichtelberg - Klínovec offers a total of 47 kilometers of slopes, 1 gondola lift, 6 chair lifts and 11 ski lifts. A free ski bus connects the resorts.
Cross-country skiers can use 146 kilometers of cross-country trails, including the popular ski highway leading to Horní Halže.
Jesus' path
Jesus' path has two circuits. The small circuit, intended for the youngest children, is 5,600 m long, the large circuit is 12,900 m long, so it is suitable for experienced tourists. Children accompanied by adult friends or family members can start their trip from Info centre at the town hall in Boží Dar. The path has 13 stops, which you can walk along marked paths and recognize them by nice houses. There is an interesting task for children in every house. Somewhere they will recognize traces of game, elsewhere trees by leaves or fruits, at the next stops they will have to guess what belongs to each other or indicate what is right. At all stops, the children will be welcomed by baby Jesus and his friends and helpers from baby Jesus' world.
